the facilities were clean and excellent, with a comfortable bed and spotless washroom. the location was unbelievably accessible and the shower had the strongest water pressure i've ever experienced while traveling. highly recommend for budget solo travelers!

Wifi kept reconnecting, kind of annoying.

From the moment I arrived at the hostel, Tomoya and Yoko made me feel right at home. They were incredibly friendly and helped me settle into Kyoto quickly. I can't thank them enough for their assistance. The location of the hostel is unbeatable, just a 10-minute walk to the train station. The common area is cozy and the kitchen facilities are great, not to mention the reliable internet connection. The staff at the reception and cleaning crew were always smiling and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay. I did find it amusing to have to go down to the basement for a shower, bumping into people in their pajamas in the elevator.

Could not be improved in any way. 🙌

Conveniently located near Kyoto Station and shopping malls. The hostel resembles a hotel with well-maintained facilities and superb bathrooms. English-speaking staff provide helpful information. No complaints.

The hostel lobby was transformed into a cherry blossom wonderland, giving me the illusion of being outdoors. The beds were like cozy caves, perfect for hiding from annoying roommates.

Who needs lockers when you can trust everyone with your stuff? It's not like people steal things in hostels.

The location of Wise Owl Hostels was convenient, just a short 5-minute walk from the station. We were able to easily explore all the popular attractions in Kyoto, such as Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu, thanks to the direct bus from the nearby bus station. The hostel itself was excellent, with comfortable beds, spotlessly clean facilities, and a fantastic shower with strong water pressure. The lounge area was also a great place to relax.
